  • Back To Atkins Hello all

    Starting induction tomorrow. I did Atkins about 5 years ago and was pretty successful at it. Lost 60 pounds in about 6 months.
    Over the years that has crept back on and then some. I've made a few attempts to get back on track but haven't been able to follow through even on the 14 day induction. I'm really hoping that this time I can stick to it. Hoping to meet some people to help me stick to it and maintain this way of eating.
    Its been the only way that I've had any success at.

    Hello!

    I am also starting today. I lost weight on Atkins before but never came close to reaching goal.

      Welcome back to both of you!

      Danielle, are you planning your menus a few days in advance? It's easier to "stick to it" if you have a plan to follow.

        I try to plan my menus for at least two days at a time. I also started food journaling today which I haven't done in the past. I'm hoping that also helps to keep me on track.
        I need to look back over induction recipes and come up with some breakfast alternatives. I get bored with eggs really quickly.
        Todays also my first day back at the gym in awhile.

            I don't meal plan as much as I prepare food in advance. I make a pan of chicken on Sunday then baggie it up in serving portions. Same for salads, etc. When I don't really know what I want I don't have to spend time thinking about it, I just grab and go. Since I only make the foods I like I always like what I end up eating and it is always on plan!
