I'm new to this board and new to the diet as well. I have just finished my first week and have only lost two pounds, but as they say every one is different.
I think I understand the diet pretty well but I do have a question regarding the amount of vegetables one should eat. It says that one should have 3 cups of salad vegetables or 1 cup of the other vegetables and two cups of salad vegetables, the thing is if you go to fit day three cups of, say romaine, only have 3.4 grams of carbs. That leaves 16.6 grams to come up with. My question is should I follow the cup rules in the book or just monitor using fitday and stay at 20 grams a day.
