    Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and say how much I love this board. I'm Amy, new to the board, but not to Atkins...sadly this is my 3rd time around. I'm in a better place this time though. Going by the book, and only by the book. I'm organized, prepared, thinking ahead...I know Atkins works, if I do the work. I have much more to lose this time, but i'm not looking back. Fresh start for me. Anyway, thanks for all the info i've taken from here already. I'm very happy to have found this board.

    1st mini goal....to lose 25 pounds (18 gone so far)
    2nd mini goal...to weigh 199
    3rd not so mini goal...to weigh 160 (maybe 155)

    Welcome to our ADBB family

    It looks as if you are well prepared to embark on your Atkins journey towards a slimmer healthier you

    Do make sure you take measurements as well or at the least sort out a 'too tight' outfit so you can verify any body-shrinking those days/weeks that the scales are mean to you

    Atkineers often lose inches when the scales stubbornly refuse to move

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
