  • Health Nut (needs help with Induction)

    Hello everyone, i know that low carb works for me however; why do I seem to wreck the induction phase by going over my carbs. I have been battling the same 7 pds for 2 weeks. I think I need a recap on how everyone does induction. I have done LC before and have all these great LC recipes however; not for Induction. Please someone just help. I really need to lose 70 pds. Thanks.

    That's something only you can answer.

    What Induction carbs are you overeating? Vegetables? Cheese?

    I think I need a recap on how everyone does induction.
    I would suggest you reread Chapter 11 in DANDR 2002 and see how Dr. Atkins wrote that Induction should be done. Looking at what "everyone does" does not mean you'll be doing it correctly.

    I have done LC before
    Maybe you need to get out of the LC mindset and get into the Induction mindset? Induction has specific rules... it's not only about keeping your net carbs to 20.

    You can find great Induction recipes, too.

          Hello Georgiana, I seem to think its okay to have more cheese and cream and veggies. I know its bad I am starting today again to see if I can go back to simple induction. I just hate bland food and Love to create. I have never done Atkins before however not new to LC. I have all these great receipes I have created before when I lost 45pds and can't seem to shake it. I will have to try harder. Thanks for stopping by.

            How many "more" vegetables are you eating?

            The limit of cheese is 3-4 ounces.

            The limit of cream is 2-3 Tbs.

                I think Linda's recipes are full of flavor and a great way to get your induction veggies in.

                  Yes, I have not looked at Linda's receipes as of yet. I was saying I love to cook and it has to have great flavor. I will have a look at Linda's receipes. Thanks for the info ladies...
