I love my cup of Jo' in the mornings and I'm finding it diffcult to go without. Will I completely throw my induction phase into the garbage if I have a cup in the morning???

Nooo! Just limit it to one. If we arn't realistic in our daily lives than we will never stick to our diet. Its true that caffein can can slow down our efforts, but 1 cup in the morning wont kill you (thats my belief) I have cut out sugar though..I used to have 2 creams and 1 splenda but I cut out the splenda and have one cup each morning (I used to have 6 cups throughout the day!!!)
Anyways, you should be fine...if your worried, just switch to decafe

Everyone is different. I've been able to lose drinking one can of soda a day on week 1 of induction. I cut it out since my 2nd week of induction and have not really noticed any extra weight loss. I stopped drinking caffeine only because I realized it was disrupting my sleep at night no matter how early I drank it.
