  • Can anyone tell me a good workout plan?

    Something I can do 30-60 mins a day at Home? I have no weights or money for gym, but we do have a stationary bike and a treadmill. I am hoping someone has something that helps burn fat and not build muscle(too much).

    walk on your treadmill and alternate going very fast at your max heart rate for one min and then slow down and recover to your fat burning heart rate about 60% of your max rate for a min then bust it back to fast for a minute. Alternate that for 30 min and you have a very good weight loss workout going.
    you can also do it on your bike for a change of pace but walking works more body muscles.
    If you like to dance puton some fast paced music and dance ofr 30 min.

    if you got kids play wiht them outside for 30 min and you will get a workout.

    as you get in better shape you can increase your duration and intensity.

    if you got a public library you can checkout exercise videos and see if you find any you enjoy. we have freee workouts on our cable several times a day

      Try to do something you enjoy. I get bored quickly, so I alternate between walking, cycling, yoga, pilates, dance workout videos...anything that gets me moving. I am not a fan of exercise - I don't really like it, but I do it anyways. Doing something I like somewhat rather than something I really dislike helps me keep it up

          Well since you have a bike and a treadmill! why not mix it up....does your treadmill have preset programs? Maybe incline intervals for 30 mins, or walk/jog 2mins for 30 etc.
          And than the next day hop on the bike...keep switching them...or try to find a program on either piece of equipment that really keeps ya involved! THe good thing about treadmills and bikes is that you can watch tv while doing it...thats what keeps me going! LOL
          Hope ya find something...
          and if you have a wii, I would suggest picking up EA Active more workouts...its a ton of fun and you dont even notice your working out cause your having so much fun
