    hi all

i wrote in sunday saying i was starting this wol on monday, but then decided to wait for the book to gen up on first as i had it on order along with an atkins cookbook. the cookbook came on tuesday and was excited when the postman delivered a book shaped package today. yay i could read induction today and start tomorrow. opened it and it was another cookbook not a happy bunny. got both off ebay and this was advertised as dr atkins new diet book not diet cookbook!!!!!

luckily i have done induction before after reading your threads so klow it, im starting tmw anyway. might have to ask a few questions along the way but im not putting it off any longer

              Re: no book

Be careful of some of his recipes as they are not all induction friendly. Yeah, start now and just ask if you have any questions or check out the FAQ section.

                Re: no book

iv just been to the farm shop to get some proper meat products. pork and herb sausage, lamb and mint burgers and some beef fat for cooking. not going to buy any prepackaged meat anymore. i know whats in these. does my menu sound ok till i get the book:

2 egg omelette with mushrooms and sprinkling of cheese or bacon/sausage fried egg for breakfast

bed of lettuce with chicken and bacon mixed with mayo or burger with cheese for lunch

chicken breast or leg/pork chop/roast meat with cauli and sprouts mashed with butter to make mock mash for dinner

8 pints of water and a few pork rinds or slice of cheese as snacks

There are lots of 'legal' induction recipes around on the forum as well as on the internet.

One site which highlights the induction recipes with a * is Low Carb Linda's website
