  • No Sugar but sugar?

I bought some Berstein’s Caesar Salad Dressing to help with my induction. I read the label and it is 1 carb per serving and 0g sugar… With trying to find other salad dressings and condiments to use sparingly, I started to read that most salad dressings have sugar…I go back to read the ingredients and of course sugar is listed. Dang it… I’ve had 3 TBPs in the past four days…Not using that any more…Is there a sugar free salad dressing that’s less than 2 net carbs per serving? What sauces/condiments are ok? I’m pretty much assuming with the dressing, I’m back to square one, correct?

No, you're not back to square one.

There's a "rule of thumb" that many use ... if sugar isn't one of the first four ingredients and if the net carbs are 2 or less per serving, then the item should be "ok".

Of course, some people can't tolerate any sugar.

And ... we all have our own deal breakers ... I won't use something if it has HFCS in it (except for Worcestershire sauce) ... and I avoid corn syrup.

There's a section in your DANDR about reading labels ... did you find it helpful?
