  • Avidlite uk

I'm am currently preparing to start my induction. I have found this website- avidlite and they have shakes/bars etc that say there are suitable for all phases including induction. I have the book and it looks like a pretty strict list of what is allowed during induction. As these products state that they are suitable for all phases- do you think I should stock up?! This is my 3rd attempt- I want it to work this time! Please advise!!!

    No
Go to the supermarket spend your money on real food. Meat, fish and veggies. That is what this is about.
Frankenfoods are made for certain companies to make money on your misery. Keep it real

No dont stock up you'll be wasting your money we prefer fresh real foods than bars shakes etc and their not allowed on induction. These products can stall you aswell.Who needs them when there are so many fresh meals you can have.

Thanks guys- I just thought I would get along better if I could have a shake for breakfast and a bar as a snack/treat. What do you eat for a quick brekkie on the go? I want to succeed this time! I think I suffer from induction food after a few hours- thats my problem!!!

So you are thinking the bars and shakes may help you to stick the programme better.
I think we find that they stall people. And they should not be meal replacements. This is very much about eating clean whole foods.

So I do not really make it a habit to eat on the go. But there are some times where I pack my little food bag with vegetables, cut up cheese, cut up coldcuts (I usuall use left over here) for if I have to eat in the car.
There is also a thread on how to make eggnog shake for breakfast. So some times I make a shake and drink it on the run if I have to

Not sure what you mean you suffer from food?

No harm in trying the shake - who knows what can happen
Induction flu is like detoxing from crappy carbs and adjusting to burning fat. It is a good thing.

No. Eat only from the list of Acceptable foods for Induction.

I try to make enough time so that I'm not eating on the go.

You could make an egg casserole, so that all you would have to do would be to microwave a chunk.

That is a good idea. A crustless quiche works so well microwaved.
