Re: Day 1 and wanting sweets....
Be encouraged and stay focused on the end goal. Think of it as driving along the road....you have to keep looking straight forward to stay on it, looking back or down too long will cause an "accident". Reach out to the board when you need help.
YOU CAN DO THIS!
Best wishes...

Re: Day 1 and wanting sweets....
If you eliminate sweets (skip the 3 allowed artificial sweeteners) for a few weeks, you will find that your craving for sweets lessens considerably. It is an addiction of sorts...the only way to get over it is to starve it.
Once you start to see results, you won't want to give them up, not even for sweets! Stick with it! It is SO worth it

That is good.
The sugar monster has lots of power over us. Fight back. Eat something savory and drink plenty water

Re: Day 1 and wanting sweets....
The others are right - if you can starve your sugar monster instead of feeding it over these first 2 weeks it will make your life so much easier
If eating a high-fat snack doesn't do the trick, try eating something sour like a pickle or an olive instead.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
