  • im a butcher!!!!

    hi guys

    just had my groceries delivered and my fridge looks like a butchers shop lol

    spent hours ordering last nite to get things as legal as possible. i bought:

    cream of tartare and bicarb of soda for some recipes iv seen here

    splenda again for recipes as i dont take sugar in anything

    organic sugarfree tomato paste and mustard

    lettuce

    fresh cauli to grate into mock hash browns

    beef joint not a beef eater but fancied a change and for the iron

    peppered steaks

    beef mince

    fresh scotch burgers

    pork joint

    chicken drumsticks for snacking

    chicken breasts

    bacon joint instead of prepacked ham altho it still says nitrates and dextrose on this so maybe wasnt as good a buy as i thought

    97% harrogate sausages no sugar in these but a bit of rusk. best sausages i could find

    pepperoni for topping on crustless pizza

    fresh double cream

    i have frozen cauli and sprouts already.

    i reckon i can make quite a few legal meals here aswell as some legal recipes. never tried recipes before, just stuck to basic meat and veg but thought if i keep food boredom at bay ill succeed. so looks like a few days experimenting. if anyone has any good recipes i can do with what iv bought please share.

    oh and some olay 7 signs of ageing anti ageing cream so the outside will look as good as the inside in a few months lol

    Rusk simply isn't allowed on Induction. Or until the grain rung of OWL.

      all the others had 80% meat or less and dextrose but never mind theyll freeze till im at the right stage. should i scrap the bacon joint aswell. its harder than you think trying to get this right lol

        Hi Ally
        AS most UK sausages have rusk as a filler you could make your own sausages or sausage patties from ground meat (pork/beef/chicken/turkey) to make sure they have no 'illegal' ingredients. Also many of the german-style sausages have only meat and spices/preservatives in them.
        Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          ah thanks eliz ill look for the german sausages. i like bierwurst. i was just surprised to find some with no sugars and a good meat content. ill see how it goes. im still waiting for my book but i can get thru induction without it

            Whether or not you scrap the bacon joint is up to you.

            I would eat that before the sausages.
