    hello everyone. i am on day 8 of induction diet. i have followed it very strictly. i have lost 3 lbs. but i am wondering if that is average. i see lots of people who have lost lots more. i have about 50 lbs to lose and i am getting a bit obsessed of why its so slow comming off for me. i walk a mile and a half every day. i am excited about the 3 lbs but dishearted that its only 3. any suggestions or advice for me

    Maybe they have a faster metabolism or more weight to lose.

    Comparing yourself with others won't speed up your weight loss.

    Because you consider it slow.

    The number on the scale is not everything... just one way to measure success. There are other things you should focus on, such as inches lost, reduced appetite, lack of cravings, stable energy or better health.

      Remember you are only halfway through your first 14 days! Wait till after the 14th day and weigh again to see how much weight you lost to work out your metabolic resistance to weightloss.

      F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

        congrats on your great start did you measure to see how many inches you have shed of body fat to go with those 3 pounds?

        as you get in better shape pick up the speed of your walk to keep your cals being burned off at the same rate as you get smaller and need lesss fuel to do the exact same things.

          Have you posted a menu? Many that think they are sticking to it strictly can still use a little tweaking to help things along. Post a sample and maybe we can help?.

            thankyou all for your support. i havent posted a menu not really sure how or where. i didnt measure myself on day 1 but have done so now. so i am sure that will help some when i see the inches come off. thanks a bunch
