  • Let's try this again..

    Hi everyone!

My name is Chelsey and I'm 23yrs old. I've attempted Atkins twice now, I think the last time was about a year ago but I just wasn't ready to make a life change. The first time I did it I lasted about 3 weeks and lost 13lbs..(have NO idea why I stopped).

Well, luckily I've only gained 4lbs since my last attempt at this. I'm starting today (3-12-10) and am SERIOUS about this WOL this time.

I'm 5'9" and 167lbs, my overall goal would be to be about 130lbs but I'm really just going to go based on how I feel more then what the scale says. I'm also going to be doing the Slim in 6 workouts so hopefully I will start seeing results soon!

Wish me luck! I'm really going to need the support.

      welcome back to Atkins.

Since you have the book and know the induction eating rules you should have a head start on other Atkins "virgin" newbies.

BTW a new to your body exercise plan can casue fluid weight gain in the beginning until your body learns that the new to your muscles load will be the normal load from now on.

Oh and one of our early successes did SI6 and had an accidnet after about the 3rd day cause her thigh muscles gave out when she was trying to sit down so be sure you ease yourself down until you get used to those workouts.

Thanks for the advice! I've been doing SI6 for about a month off and on so I shouldn't hurt myself this time lol (hopefully)
