Well, I did induction for 2 months with great results, 40lbs lost. But on Monday I got pretty sick. After working out or just laying down I got very light headed, upset stomache and dizzy (this started on Saturday). So, ended up coming of plan for a couple days. I got a doctors appointment tomorrow to get blood work done, not sure if it is just a mineral/vitamin deficiency or something else. I plan on starting again once I get the go ahead from the doctor tomorrow.

Re: So, starting over.
Your results would have been more accurate if you had stayed on your plan until your appt. Now you won't know if something new is affecting your results or if it was something you were eating before these last 2 days.
Hope you feel better soon, have you checked your BP? I get light headed when mine drops down in the 90's.

No, I haven't checked it. As for staying on plan, I couldn't. It caused me to miss a day and a half of work I was that bad. I came off, and a little over a day and I was feeling a lot better (my stomach was still on the fritz but I wasn't falling into walls anymore). Don't think I would have made it through the rest of the week like that still.Originally posted by poobears1972 View PostYour results would have been more accurate if you had stayed on your plan until your appt. Re: So, starting over.
Sorry to hear you are feeling so rough, Andrew.
I hope after you have seen your doctor you will have some info about whether you are missing any minerals/vits and some advice on how to improve that.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: So, starting over.
are you still eating tomoto sauce as your veggies? if so ask your doc to check your potassium levels. that can cause walking into walls cause your blood pressure will drop.
what did you eat since you stopped that helped you feel better that could help you know what you were missing.
also take your fitday with you when you go so your doc can see what you were eating and how much.by the book atkinseer

Re: So, starting over.
I started eating wheat products and potatoes. I will get the results back next week but I have restarted. It may turn out that it has absolutely nothing to do with Atkins after all tho. When I went to hockey this morning I talked to two seperate people who had the same symptoms. May have been a bug after all but I didn't want to take the chance at the time.Originally posted by 2big4mysize View Postare you still eating tomoto sauce as your veggies? if so ask your doc to check your potassium levels. that can cause walking into walls cause your blood pressure will drop.
