  • Dinner at Work...

    Alright here's the thing,
My work schedule is all over the clock. I work in health care and work all hours imaginable! Soooooo,
today i worked 3-11 and before work had no idea what to do! So i went to the grocery store and grabbed a box of frozen hamburger patties (with cheddar and bacon in them) a bag of asparagus and some shrimp & shrimp sauce!
I even bought a stove top pan! lol (we have a kitchen in our office)
So I had one patty, about 8 asparagus stocks and maybe 6 shrimp.
Is this ok?! I feel pretty bloated tonight....maybe there was too much sodium because I have not felt this bloated in 2 weeks
I drank about 2 liters of water while there, and I always use the stairs to go see my clients, never the elevator (this is a 10 story building)
Do you think my meal tonight was horrible?

Depending on the ingredients of the hamburger (in UK they have grains added usually) and the shrimp sauce they could well have been a good choice. The extra bloat from more sodium than you usually eat should go away within a few days
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      Thanks
Actually this is really odd! Last night I felt so bloated and yucky...but when I woke up today I swear I had lost more inches! LOL I'm not sure where I have been these last couple of years (miserable and over weight!)
Its so weird, because back in 2005 I bought the book but never read it!
If I had of started doing atkins 5 years ago....boy oh boy!
Anyways, I am here now and thats what counts!
