Hi everyone...a few weeks ago I decided I "failed" Atkins by trying the Induction phase twice and only staying on it for two days each time.
Well, I got a lot of feedback from some of you on here that gave be terrific advice and some great experiences of your own to feed off of.
I decided to pick up the book again and re-read it again thoroughly. I must have missed a few chapters the first time I read it because I finally got to see where Dr. Atkins gave advice and pep speeches on why you should at least give it the two weeks to test it out and see how you feel.
So, I'm back again. I am re-armed with Dr. Atkins' 2002 edition of the Diet Revolution and I have re-stocked my kitchen with induction foods.
I have a serious addiction to junk food. I have come to the conclusion that the Atkins nutritional approach is the only way to kick this addiction. The things I find myself binging on are potato chips, fries, cupcakes, chocolate, ice cream, Pepsi, pretzels, pizza and sugary alcohol cocktails. CARBS UP THE YIN YANG!!!
So here I am, back and ready for another try. Hopefully this won't be a try but a "will"!
But I really need all the help I can get. I really feel the need to change things in my life, for the better, and I'm gonna need lots of help and motivation to keep going if it gets tough. So I'd appreciate lots of well-wishing and words of strength.
Thank you!!!!
