  • DAY 6 And STARVING????

    well this is my 6th day on induction and im following induction well..im eating all the acceptable foods, but for some reason I always feel like im starving!! I mean like I havnt eaten in days!!!! even after i eat, i still feel so hungry..why is this? is there anything I can do to combat this?? please help...

    If you are starving, eat.

    If you are eating enough, you might be hungry because you are undereating protein or because you are eating a food to which you have an intolerance.

    Could you post a complete menu, with amounts and net carbs for everything?

      Are you drinking enough water? Many times we think we are hungry but we are really thirsty. Also if you are honestly hungry eat, make sure you are getting enough fat too.

        Post your menues in the "Review my menu forum". It could be due to a number of things including, but not limited to the amount of fat, the amount of protein, a sensitivity to additives/preservatives in prepared foods, etc.

          yep what all of them said.

          if we are hungry we are supposed to eat until our hunger is satisfied so are you doing that?

          if so check your protein intake and see if eating a little more the next time you eat stops or lessens that hunger feeling. if itr does then you need bigger protein amounts at your feedings. if the hunger is exactly the same then you know protein isn't going to be the correction. check your fats and be sure you are getting enough. and answer the Ws when you eat who what when where why and how you feel before during and after you eat and again an hour later. soon you will see a pattern to what is your trigger. mine was celery, Splenda sweetened anything and eating with my little sister. I stopped all those triggers and I didn't have any more issues.

          do you take any meds or have any medical issues?
