So when Adam and I started out five days ago, we were both excited and hopeful, but I was the more motivated one. After a couple of days, however, I started to get really bogged down because Adam suddenly had all this extra energy and reported that he was starting to look a bit slimmer, whereas I just felt like crap and was skeptical that it was working for me in spite of following the rules and working out every day. It must've just been 'start-of-diet' blues, though- I just hopped on the scale and I've lost 8 lbs
I was so shocked that I recalibrated the scale to make sure it was accurate and weighed again 3 or 4 times and it came up 182.2 every time! I nearly cried, ha! The two of us together have lost a total of 19 lbs since 12 March, I simply cannot believe it! So, for anyone who's only a few days in and feeling like giving up, stick with it! If you can't tell a difference when you look in the mirror yet, try on those rings that you haven't been able to wear in years because your fingers were too fat. The first place I noticed weight loss was my hands!
