  • Day 7

I have done a much better job, I am learning how to be more prepared than when I first started. So far after 6 days behind me (I am on my 7th day) I am down about 6 and a half pounds. (Almost half a stone for all you Great Britain types)

    Today I had:
2 hard boiled eggs with tobasco and pepper for breakfast,
Some Chicken salad I made with rottiserrie chicken, mayo, and a half a cup of raw onions. I ate it with a cup of celery(used like spoons I could eat!)
When I get home I am going to have some roasted pork that I cooked this weekend. I pan Fry it and cut it up, wrap it in lettuce with a low carb (1.2 carbs) sauce.

I have finally been drinking more water, and am looking forward to seeing how much I can lose during the second week. So far so good.

Congratulations on the 6.5 lbs! Terrific!

Water was hard for me at first, but I really do not even drink soda anymore or anything else!

      Have you started exercising?

I made the rottiserrie chicken at home, it had a chicken, black pepper,

The low carb sauce is 2 tsp of mayo and 2 tsp of mustard. I am going off of the chart in the back of DANDR 2002 for a reference for the carbs

          Good!

Commercial rotisserie chicken often has flour on the skin and is injected with a dextrose solution!!!

The rottisserrie we have is awesome, make a 15 lb turkey in about two hours, and it is perfect every time. I am finding that I love raw onions when they are chopped real fine and put into salads!

I broke both my ankles when I was in the army, I am going to start running again when I get below 250. I find that if I am any heavier, it causes me a lot of pain. But 250 and below I seem to be ok.
