  • Day 9: Things are finally looking up.

    Induction flu over with.
Jaw & Teeth finally not sore.

I have to go back for more work on the 31st but now I at least have some better ideas for things i can make and stock up on to get me through the first couple days of april that will be low-carb and not hurt to eat. YAY.

Scale today said I'm down 7.3 pounds in 8 finished days. I am hoping to before I leave induction hit 15 total. (I am planning to spend at least a few extra days in Induction if not another week or so for a LOT of reasons. I did read that questionairre. I think it'd be for the best entirely.)

I don't have more energy, and I need to start exercising (I know), but I am sleeping a lot better (i am usually an AWFUL insomniac) and while I'm not more energetic (ie get up and go) I am a lot less super tired. So I am at least getting more non-health-related things done. Which, I'm happy about.

Even better, I know water weight is at play here. But if I can just keep going - I know inches matter more than scale but that's not what my dr measures! It means I am down 33% of my 21.5 lb goal to meet by June 1st! I honestly think I may make it this time (never been under 240 since freshman year of college. Hit 220 and we are back to junior year of highschool.)
    Highest Ever: 280
    Start: 261.5
    Mini Goal 1 - 240 by June 1st.
    Mini Goal 2 - 220
    Mini Goal 3 - 190
    Mini Goal 4 - 160
    Goal - 135 -
Goal 2 - keep working on toning away loose skin/whatever if I still have any. Be able to wear a swimsuit (maybe a bikini) without shame before I'm 30

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
