Well I made it to day 14.

  • Well I made it to day 14.

    I never thought I had the will power to make it this far. I thought if the headaches didn`t get me then the lack of coffee and bread would. But I hung in there and started to exercise on my exercise bike and went out for walks. I was a demon on the bike, I do between 20 and 25 miles a night. I just bang on my Bose headphones and turn on the iPod Touch and away I go.
    Well to cut a long story short I weighed myself today, final day of induction and the scales said I had lost 20lbs.......... yes TWENTY!!!!!! I think I may have woke everyone up this morning LOL
    Now I know the exercise has helped a lot, but the new way of eating things has been incredible. My BMI went from nearly 39 down to 35.55.... thats impresive.
    So if anyone is reading this who is having doubts about cutting out carbs, as Nike say, "Just Do It", the results are amazing.

    Well done that is fantastic!! I scream at every pound lost lol! You must feel great!

                  Thanks for all the replies. I am totally committed to the cause now. When I go out with my wife into town I always take my little lunch box with all my goodies. I think this has helped me a lot also. Always be prepared is my new motto

                    GREAT JOB GORDY!! how exciting for you....feels great doesn't it? being prepared is my new motto also...i've done this before, but never as prepared as I am now. Keep up the great work!
