  • Day 12- Grrrrr.....

    I am at day 12, and I am down 12 lbs so far. 2lbs away from my first minigoal. I thought it would take much longer. I hope to move on to the first rung of OWL on Thursday. We had a staff breakfast this morning during a workshop. I brought a big lunch just in case there was nothing that was induction friendly. I was glad I did. There was an awesome quiche there with eggs, cheese, onions, and spinach. When I got close to it there was a breaded crust and breaded topping on it. I passed. So I had brisket, and leftover cauliflower salad for breakfast, then I had Brisket,leftover cauliflower , and a cream cheese dressing for lunch(3 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup diced tomatoes- fresh not canned, and 1/2 lb ground hamburger seasoned with salt and pepper.)
    They kept offering me doughnuts, but I want to be healthy. I asked for splenda for my coffee, and my boss said she doesn't keep it because it is bad for you, she just uses sugar. She went on to tell me how bad low carb is. She is ignorant and just repeating stuff she heard other people say. I'll trust what the book written by a cardiologist says before I trust her word. I wanted to say something, but I kept my trap shut. I was getting judged by a bunch of ladies at work. Judge all you want, but when the football coach ends up weighing less than most of the ladies in his department, I don't think they will think it is so funny that I'm eating this way.

    Start weight- 274
    1st Minigoal- 250(reached 3-25-2010)
    2nd Minigoal- 235(reached 4-22-2010)
    3rd Minigoal- 219 (that would make me no longer obese)
    Goal- 200

        I swear I think people think we eat bacon and pork rinds for breakfast lunch and dinner....I just tell them to read the book instead of listening to rumors, then come talk to me....yes I get a little sassy when they try to slam my WOE!!
