I know I shouldn't have but I just had to do it. I started Atkins Sunday at midnight and just HAD to step on the scales when I got in from work a few hours ago. I have lost 8 lbs already! Am excited beyond all belief. This was so worth fighting horrible carb cravings Tuesday. That night I came home and got on here and read some posts and immediately felt connected because now I know I'm not alone! It might be a figment of my imagination but I SWEAR there are 2 flat spots 2-3" below my bra line on the front section of my rib cage (right and left side) that were not there before! All I can say is WOW! Granted to most people that haven't been here it doesn't seem like much but to me it is a major deal! I'm currently in a size 14 jean (they are tight across my butt) and XL shirt and have ~80 more lbs to go to hit my final goal. This is what I ask you guys: do you think with what I need to lose that I should stay on extended induction or just go on with OWL? Which is "quicker" and more healthy? (AM full of questions...sorry guys and gals!) The one thing I'm pretty sure I'm doing wrong is eating maybe 8 carbs a day along with not eating much fat. Have never been a big fan of beef meat and have always loved turkey/chicken. Have eaten enough chicken breasts I'm about sick of it. Last night I came in and fixed 3 thin cut ribeyes(1.25 lbs before cooking) and went to town on them. They were delicious! I think my body must have been craving grease/fat. I love you guys and have already learned tons from this site! Thank you!
