  • Day 5 - Induction

    Feeling good, no cravings. Got a little too light on the carbs and last night, made sure I had a cup full of salad with a grilled chicken breast.

    According to the scale this AM, I'm down 6 pounds. Know this speedy weight loss won't last, but it's fun at the moment!!




    Start weight: 215 (3/22/10)
    Mini-Goal: 199 (4/12/10 - Personal)
    Mini-Goal: 185
    Goal: 175

      Good for you!

      When I was a newbie, I planned my meals by first deciding what veggies I was going to eat that day. Then I added in the meats and fats. That way, I was sure to get "most" of my daily carbs from the veg. It sounds counterintuitive to plan your meals around veggies on a low carb diet, but it's one way to make sure you get them in.
