    8 pounds down in Induction!!

Even though I had a couple slip ups, I still lost a wonderful amount of bloat and fat!

My clothes feel looser and I have tons of energy now! The first few days were rough, but tolerable and I was never suffering with hunger at all.

I am very impressed with this plan and best of all it is free!

I have not tried any bars or shakes yet as I am waiting until I get either bored with my food or begin to get a craving for something sweet, neither of which I have felt yet.

I am very happy!! I am moving to OWL--today is my first day of owl. Woo hoo!

    I am believing!!!!

    Congratulations!

If you get a craving, it's best not to feed it.

True, but how do I manage it then? Ignoring it, I guess. I could take a walk or drink water or call a friend or come here!! I hope to not get any cravings ever!!! If I do what I am supposed to do, I won't get them! I'll do my best!

I guess I answered my own question!! Thanks atkinsgal! I just needed to type it out!

I was a carb junky, so I still get cravings. I have been able to manage them by substituting some of my favorite carby snacks, with low carb (Atkins friendly) versions. Check out some of the recipes on the forums, or post in the recipe request thread asking for something specific.

Congrats on OWLING. Be sure to update your status from Induction to whichever rung you are currently on (rung 1 I assume).

              congrats on your great start.

Most cravings only last about 20 min. One thing you want to do is keep track of any cravings you do get and see if you can pinpoint the cause other then TOM cause it could be a food casued one and you will want to follow Dr Atkins advice and punt that food for now.

Enjoy those yummy induction veggies in the larger amounts as your first OWL rung 5 net of most can go a long way. don't pick lettuce though as you will be so tired of chewing by the time you finish off those monsterous salads LOL.

No problem I am sure. 5 net carbs extra of allowed induction veggies should not harm your losing progress.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
