    Artichokes on induction?

Sorry, I wasn't sure if I could have a steamed artichoke with the "leaves" dipped in butter? I had a hard time understanding, probably a dumb question, but I'm trying to not stray without knowing I am!

    Thanks!!!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe both artichokes and artichoke hearts are legal "other" vegetables for induction, meaning that you can have up to a cup if you only have 2 cups of salad vegetables.

      Yes, artichokes are fine.

Are you reading Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002)?

Here's a copy of the Acceptable Foods List:

I read it a few years ago, and I have it in storage now. So I am going off of memory and what I have found on the web. I have a new copy coming in the mail, so I'll feel even better once I can really comb through it again!

        Thanks!!
