    What do i need to look for, and what to watch out for, on picking the right kind of bacon for induction?

    see if you can find a bacon that was not sugar cured. Walmart and Kroger carry brands The walmart one starts with a G and the kroger one is the store brand.

      I use Boar's head naturally smoked. 0 sugar.

        Yeah, as the others said, most bacon is cured with sugar, but there are a select few that arn't. I found one at Winco, after I was standing there for about 20mins reading, since they have like 20 different kinds! Oh and be sure about the lunch meat you get too. The ONLY one I found that does not any added sugar in it is peppered turkey at New Season's (a west coast natrual food store). Even all the lunch meats at Whole Foods have sugar in it....?!? It really stresses me out sometimes!
