During inductin is there an advantage to only having fewer than 20net carbs a day? For example is it better to have 5 carbs a day rather than 20? Or is the goal to get as close to 20 without going over?
unless you are part of the 5% of the population that will not shed weight on induction there would be no advantage to having less grams of carbs during your induction unless having less means you don't eat junkfood carbs.
you should be eating the majority of your carbs from your legal induction veggies so if you ony have 5 nrt grams of veggies they you will be eating less then 10 net grams. Sneaky way to force us to eat veggies other then just iceberg lettuce.
2big is right. more than half should be coming from your veggies and they should be things like broccoli, green beans, asparagus and not just iceberg. Going to 5 grams isnt going to make you lose faster, in fact it might even be slower since you would be eating more calories since protein and fat are more calorie dense and less fiber without as many veggies. The program is designed to best use of your food choices and nutrition so use it as planned.
