  • First Day.....Am I on the right track?!?

    Hello Everyone,

    Today is my first day and so far so good. Please take a look at what i ate today and plan to eat. Please let me know if I'm on the right track.

    The link doesn't work.

    To make your Fitday public, log in, go to the Profile tab, click on the blue Public Settings Page at the bottom, click on the "Make My Journal Public" button. Then you'll get a link at the top:

        are you doing the new 2010 Atkins? if so then your foods look great.

        here on ADBB we use the 2002 DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION known as DANDR around here.

        on that plan veggies are limited to only 3 cups so you had too many veggies for that plan.

        how do you feel?


        are you eating just chicken and eggs cause you think you should or cause you like them? if you like thenm that is fine if you think you should then you should know you can eat any natural beef pork, poultry or finfish you want as your protein sources.

        you can have real bacon too if you want not the low fat turkey stuff.

          I thought I was doing the older version. I haven't ate beef, or pork in years. I only eat fish, turkey, and chicken.

          I will not eat any more vegetables tonight. I have ate dinner yet which was going to be the chicken, spinach, and deviled eggs.

            i accidently used cups sizes when in fact, I measured them in ounces.

              volume ounces or weight ounces?

              You are having spinach and chicken twice? cause you have it listed already but your post says you haven't eatten yet.

              If you are hungry eat more protein and fats and if you have more veggies from your 3 cup limits then have them too.

                Your calories are a little low. Your net carbs are low, too. To be nutritionally sound, you should be as close to 20 net as possible.

                You can go back and edit.

                How much water are you drinking?

                On the whole, it looks good for a first day! There's a learning curve to Atkins and to Fitday.
