what plan are you following DANDR 2002 or Atkins 2010?

congrats on your start. a few minor correction

powdered creamer isn't allowed but real cream is.
basalmic vinegar isn't allowed neither on the induction phase cause it has sugar added to it as part of the flavor.

    where is your lunch protein?

if you are hungry eat some more if not then stop.

how much are you drinking of water and what are you doing for the exercise part of atkins?
be careful with those atkins bars they can stall out weight loss for many.

Not bad for day 1. Be sure to check the ingredients on that grilled chicken sandwich---oftentimes, prepared foods contain carbs. Also, Dr. Atkins said to drink at least 64 fluid ounces of water daily. So 1/2 a bottle of water isn't quite up to that amount, because the only thing that counts as water is water.

As for the Atkins bar, again, check the ingredients to make sure it really is appropriate for Induction Phase. Often the bars contain things like soy or nuts, which are not on the induction acceptable foods list. And we've noticed here on ADBB that those bars and shakes have a tendency to slow or stop weight loss in some folks, so we don't recommend their use during the Induction phase.

Powdered creamer contains carbs---usually in the form of dextrose (which is sugar) and/or high fructose corn syrup (another form of sugar). And it's usually "non-fat". FAt is necessary on ATkins, so the best type of creamer is the real stuff----cream. So use that instead of that powdered stuff.

Balsamic vinegar isn't allowed because it contains added sugar. I used to have a link to America's Test Kitchen, which explained that unless it's the balsamic vinegar that has been aged for 20 years in some Italian farmhouse attic, the commercial grade balsamics contain either fruit juice or sugar to approximate the authentic stuff. However, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, wine vinegar are okay to use.

And be sure to spread your carbs out during the day, so add a few veggies to your breakfast. And be sure to eat protein, fat and carbs at every meal. This will avoid any "blood sugar" rushes from the carbs you are eating.
