  • Remotivate....

    So, Easter is over and I am needing to get remotivated again. I was doing SOOOO good last week. I had NO candy over the weekend, even thought Cadbary eggs and Reese's PB eggs are my ultimate favorite! I'm very proud of myself for not indulging. Although, I did cheat once. I had about half a cup of strawberry shortcake. I actually got sick after eating it. NOt sure why I even did. It is one of my favorite desserts but I thought I'd been able to resist.... well, I couldn't.

    So, I need to get back on the band wagon. I've learned a couple things over the past few days....

    1) I really need to log what I eat. I haven't been able to do so over the past few days and although I thought I was eating right... I must not have been, as I weighed in at 191 today... gaining 2 pounds since Saturday!

    2) I really need to check in here a couple times a day. I havne't been able to do that either and my motivation has went down the tube. This forum is wonderful and I've missed it. I have total faith in being able to find myself again... as long as I keep checking in. Thank you all for that.

    3) Now that I have the book... I REALLY need to read it. I'm back at work tonight, after having a few days off, and plan to read it when I can.

    So... there's my testimony, my accountability, for the past couple days.

    Now... time to eat some breakfast... protein, fat & veggie.

    Thanks again for all you people do...

      Just try to remember those strawberries won't be off limits long. No you won't get to have the sponge cake with it but you can whip up some heavy cream for dipping if you like. I recently moved to the berry rung and have had 2 strawberries 2 different times. Trust me they taste so amazing with no sugar in your system you won't need anything with them. I'm not even a big strawberry fan, or I wasn't until now. But if they are a crave food you'll have to be careful with them and make sure they don't trigger binging or cravings.

      You can do this. Set some mini goals to use as motivation.
