Ok I went to Walmart and bough a box of the generic Splenda. The Splenda product say that the Total Carbs are less than 1 gram. The generic splenda (Great Value) says Total Carb is 0. The generic ingredients say: Dextrose w/ Maltodextrin, sucralose. (same as Splenda right?) Do I still count them as 1 gram??

Re: Question regarding generic splenda.
Yes, I'd still count it as 1.
Don't forget, Nutritional panels' numbers are rounded. Also, make sure that the serving size is the same - or you aren't comparing apples to apples

Re: Question regarding generic splenda.
look at the serving size for the info and see if it is the same amount as the regular Splenda package. that is another way they can say their brand is zero carb shrink the serving size so you have less then .5 grams of carbs and legally a company can say 0 grams of carbs for a servingby the book atkinseer
