I decided last week that I was going to do my best at a healthy atkins lifestyle. At the end of January I started watching what I was eating and consumed around 1200 calories, since that time i had lost about 23 pounds. I started Atkins on Tuesday of this week and so far I have lost 7.4 pounds. My boyfriend is coming in on Leave from the military in 5 weeks, and i am hoping that i can lose at least 30 pounds by then! So far so good!

You are doing great and should be able to reach that goal by then with what you have already lost or at least get close if you keep working hard and stick to the plan !!
You sound very motivated and that is half the battle when working to lose weight !!!
Think about starting a journal if you do not have one yet, it is nice to have a place to keep track of your progress and others can visit and help you there !!
