  • Flaxseed and Induction

    "For daily fiber supplementation
Chapter 8: "I recommend that you take one tablespoon of psyllium husks daily. Be sure to select a sugar-free product. You can also take one tablespoon of coarse wheat bran or flaxseed meal."

Does Anyone know Why you can only have 1 tlbs of flaxseed meal on Induction ??
The reason I am asking is because I was told I could take it for my bm problem... However I didnt read this before I made a min muffin and used 1/4 cup the muffin was delicious,, with cinnamon and cream cheese)
Now I am worried it is going to slow me down. I am on day 7 of induction and have been doing everything I am suppose to.. and I am drinking 8-15 20oz glasses of water aday.

    Should I be worried ?

You could also halve the recipe.

I find the muffin very filling so I just make a whole one and eat half at a time - saving the other for another day. Sometimes I even split it in thirds!

Depending on which recipe you are using you might find that if you add an extra egg to your recipe it makes the muffin a bit bigger but not too 'eggy'so you can split it into more slices if you want to cut down a bit on your flax portions.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

You can really do anything with it...coconut oil, pumpkin, spices, cut up veggies, onions, sf syrups...and up the ladders you can add whey protein, berries, slivered almonds, flaked coconut, sf chocochips, mmmmmmm....

Gosh, this WOE is pretty nice....
