  • Help I am still Hungry today

    Ok .. I need some help...I am on day 8 and have lost 7 lbs.. So I really think I have been doing well but for some reason I am still really hungry today... I am not sure why because I have ate almost the same things as previous days... with just a little mix..
    Can some one take a look at this and suggest something I can eat that might fill me up and wont put me over those 20g and my fat is already at 65% I was trying to bump my veggie carbs up alittle more today

    Breakfast
    2 eggs
    1 egg white
    1 cup peppers & onions (frozen package said 5 carbs >1 net)
    1 oz mozzerella
    1 tbls butter

    Snack
    3 oz beef pattie
    1 tsp mustard
    1 tbls mayo

    Lunch
    1 cup lettuce
    5 oz chicken
    1 5 in celery stalk
    1 pickle spear
    1 tsp mustard
    1 tbls mayo
    2 oz cauliflower

    Then came dinner and was looking at my fitday so I wouldnt go over and came up with This.. (I have already ate it)

    Dinner
    1 cup lettuce
    1 small tomato 2 to 2.5 inches
    1 tlbs ranch dressing

    Fit day says
    80.8 Fat 65%
    25.6 Carbs 8%
    6.3 Fiber (so net carbs are already 19.3)
    73.1 Protien 27 %

      That is your dinner. I am starving just looking at it. You need protein and fat. NOW. Fry up some steak or fish or salmon or something and EAT it. You had too little protein today so you will be hungry. Don't let that happen to you. Snack on stuff.

      Only one tablespoon of mayo was not enough fat with that lunch.

        Thanks.. I am not hungry now. I had oz of cheese, 5 olives , and 3 oz of boneless skinless chicken that I always seem to have cooked and in the fridge now....

        At some point I will get the hang of balancing my fat /protien/ veggie carbs in each meal.

        I am still trying to wrap my mind around the FAT... you want me to eat FAT.... I have been watching Fat and calories and eating whole grain carbs for so long with such little success it is just so hard to get the right mind set..
        I have been reading the DANDR tonight and learning alot about why good FAT is ok to eat.. It is very helpfull and so are all of you

          Well done
          For anyone who is used to the old low-fat ways of dieting it takes some time to realise that eating the Atkins way does not mean depriving ourself, so you it seems to me you are starting to get the hang of this already

          How did the percentages work out to after adding that chicken last night?

            31 % protein
            and didnt go over my carbs

              good for you eating foods that were legal to satisfy your hunger.

              we will have hungry days and not hungry days and on hungry days it is okay to eat more of our legal foods that don't have limits like fats and proteins.

              BTW you can be at 65% for breakfats and eat more prtoein fat and carbs for lunch and still be at 655 because it is the percent of your entire cals eatten that are fats that will give you that percent so if you just eat high fat moderate protein and low carb you will be very close to those ratios all day long..

                This is a Great way to do it.. Thanks for the advice
