  • Does induction = gluten free?

    Hi,
this may be a dumb question and I assume induction means gluten free but is that really true? I can't think of anything I've eaten that might have gluten--

I've been feeling really good and am wondering if going off gluten is part of the reason...
    Thanks!

Does grass make you sneeze? If so, you are going to likely be allergic to gluten, which is a grass!

I never made the correlation until I read Julia Ross' book. Now I avoid the stuff like the plague and I've never felt better!

Gluten is in wheat, rye and barley. I was diagnosed celiac in January and have been gluten free ever since. Atkins and GF are made for each other, since most gluten containing foods are forbidden. Gluten lurks in many things you would normally never suspect. If you really want to go GF, there are several great web sites out there that will tell you what to avoid.

Many Atkineers are able to pinpoint previous health problems with regards to gluten by finding they notice them returning when they reintroduce grains as they get to the top of the OWL carbohydrate ladder.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
