  • Lush Brunch....

I just had a lush meal... 1 cup of shredded cauliflower, a packet of ground beef 1oz cheese and 1 tbsp sour cream. It was lovely, I put the cauli on the bottom of a dish and warmed it in the microwave with some butter put the beef on top then cheese and sour cream. Feeling alot better about this woe now still feel bloated and like not much weight lost but going to persevere. Just thought I would share with you guys...

That sounded a really tasty meal

It is great to be able to eat well and not just have to eat 'fat free rabbit food' (as my husband used to describe my previous 'diets'), isn't it!!

It really is so nice to be able to eat this way... I am just hoping that when I weigh after 2 weeks it will show a loss otherwise I don't know what I will do, I do feel different and my stomach feels a little different too but I am leaving it until the first 2 weeks is up to weigh. I could easily eat this meal every day and not get fed up of it, it was really filling too still not that hungry.

Good to hear. As you progress you might find you don't need to eat as much food with each meal, so keep checking that you are eating till no longer hungry then stop and put any 'leftovers' away for another meal.

You know I wish I knew how to shred that cauliflower.. when I do, I use the hand grater... don't have one of those chopping machines...and it comes out like crumbly.....I have these visions when people make cauliflower rice that it looks like rice....

I grate mine raw then microwave it, when I tried grating cooked cauli it just went mushy
I started with a hand grater at first, which was fiddly but then got a rotary-type one which I wind the handle of which works much quicker.
