  • Hot Tea w/ Heavy Cream?

I got this idea from someone here but I wanted to make EXTRA sure this was acceptable while on Induction.

1-2 cups of Hot Tea - caffinated with...
1-2 tsp of heavy whipping cream (which reads a 0 carbs/tsp) and...
1-2 packets of sweet n low or splenda which are counting toward my daily sweetner allowance (which I think is 3?)

What do you all think? Yay or Nay? Or should I just not have it everyday.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!!!!!

Abbeyrd1, I have been told that we shouldn't even use sweeteners in induction because they tend to cause cravings. I have used a few sweeteners during my induction (I'm on day 13), and found that when I was having them, I needed them, and now that I'm not, I don't. It's better to break those cravings than to keep being a slave to them, which doesn't mean that you will never have them again, just not daily.

Calico, did you notice any change in weight loss after dropping the artificial sweeteners?

It's not 0 though. A Tbs. is 0.4125 net carbs.
