    YAAAY!!! Started the Atkins diet about a month ago, but got aggravated because I wasn't losing weight and fell off. I could not understand what the problem was until I went to the DANR and really buckled down. I cut out the caffeine and artificial sweeteners (bye bye aspartame) and did the lemon juice and salad oil for dressing (I was using very low carb bleu or ranch, but not measuring it so I believe that was a culprit too). I also went back to my Jazzercise classes. Woke up this morning and after restarting on the 14th I have lost 6 pounds (woo woo!). So happy! I know that the exercise has something to do with, but I am just so thankful to see the scale move down! Lesson learned, EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK APPLIES.

    Congrats! Atkins really does work if done correctly. Kudos to you for figuring out what wasn't working and fixing it.

    p.s. Thanks for spelling "voila" correctly. (from voir "to see" + la "there.") It's one of my things...I see it spelled "wahlaa" so many times on boards and it drives me crazy! Of course having taken 6 years of French in school and having spent summers for over 20 years in Montreal and Quebec probably adds to that.

      Great job done of working your Atkins and your body to get such good results this time around!!
