    talk about confusing!

    I had a major, carb-y fall today.

I have been doing an unclean Induction, which while it was 20 or less g carb, did not allow me to get out of my body certain "triggers".

So I'm going clean, starting tonight with dinner. Tomorrow will by my official day one.

I was looking at the Atkins website www.atkins.com for Induction menu ideas. Holy Cow! It seems VERY different than DANDR (2002 is what I have).

Some days have 2 cups salad, and 2 cups other veggies. Some days have hot cereal or bread, which aren't listed at all on the Induction foods.

    I find it confusing.

What is the impression of everyone around here? Stick with the book??? I'm thinking, that book was written by the Doc, after all those many years of research and application, so follow the book.

    Thanks for any insight!

Also, any thoughts on snacks to keep in the purse? Nuts are out right now, and those Atkins bars feel like a brick in my stomach.

    Thanks!! :joy

Go with the book, it was written by the good doctor himself - not by Corporate America who wants you to give them money to eat their crap and get you fat.

You should always refer to the book, DANDR 2002 edition - follow it to the letter and it will never fail

        Stick with the book.

imo, Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. acts more in the best interest of their bank account than in the best interest of your weight loss success.

Couldn't agree more. You'll be much more successful following the book.

Their Induction menu doesn't even follow the rules that they give in the Induction section for the amount of acceptable foods.
