  • Something wrong...

    Hello,

    I am over week 1 and I have lost 1Kg.(2Pounds) only.

    I am doing something wrong but not sure what it is.

    I am suspecting few things

    1-I am having too much Diet Coke (with aspartam-we dont' have here the one with Splenda). I am having around 4 cans per day...

    2-I am having maybe too much cheese (cheddar cheese). Around 200Gr per day... I usually snack on them...

    3-I am having 6-8 tablets of canderel with my 3 cups of tea that I drink daily

    4-I am having too much coffee ? (4-5 cups of turkish coffee)

    The limit of sweetener is 3 servings per day, so yes, you're way over the limit.

    You're eating twice as much cheese as you should be.

    You're drinking too much coffee and tea.

      Hi Pierre Welcome to our international ADBB family

      I would agree that the things you mentioned might well be affecting your weightloss progress

      One can (12 fluid ounces) of a soft drink counts as being 1.5 servings of sweetener, so you are waay over the 3 per day limit with your additional coffee sweeteners.

      However, it is early days yet and you have the time to change things if you want to, to see if you can get more results on the second week of your induction.

      What sort of food are you choosing to eat?

        I am eating mainly meat & fish & eggs & chicken..
        for example this is yesterday menu :

        7up diet in the morning / 2 eggs fried with butter +some parmesan
        1 cup of coffee with sweetener (canderel)

        at noon I had 2 steak grilled (around 400grams) with some mustard and 1/2 head of endive.
        1 Diet coke
        1 cup of coffee with sweetener (canderel)

        at night I had 2 salmon (around 350grams) in the oven with 1 onion and 1 green pepper.

        I also had 2 diet coke cans.
        1 Liter of plain water (the whole day !)
        1 cup of coffee with sweetener (canderel)

          Other than what was already said...

          You should be drinking at least 2 L of water.

          How many net carbs are you getting per day? How many come from vegetables?

          Your menu seems too high in protein and too low in fat.

            Way too much sweetener. Cut it down to zero and see how much better you do. drink water
