  • Day 2 and i am struggling - help please

Its day 2 I can handle all the meals BUT NOT BREAKFAST!

Breakfast is really getting to me!! I would love a smoothie or some fruit juice and i know i am now allowed! I also love toast I am struggling to get my head round eggs/meat for breakfast!!! I am also struggling with time to cook it and really don't fancy the breakfasts anyway - esp if they're to be warmed up from the day before (i can't do with warmed up food)!

Is there a shake or something for breakfast? PLEASE HELP

You don't have to have eggs for breakfast (or at all if you don't want to). Try thinking out of the box a little. I haven't eaten eggs for a long time for breakfast. I usually buy a couple heads of lettuce a week and bring several large leaves with me along with some slices of turkey and some mayo (turkey and lettuce roll ups!) for breakfast.

If you like toast, try making up some oopsie rolls from this recipe to toast up and spread some butter on: http://cleochatra.blogspot.com/2009/...ka-oopsie.html

Have you checked out Linda's low carb recipe site? Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Recipes

There are a lot of good recipes on there. I'm sure you can find something you'll enjoy for breakfast.

Warmed up leftovers aren't bad when you have something that tastes great. Check out some of the recipes on Linda's site. Some of them are great for freezing (quiches) and don't lose any of their pizazz when warmed back up.

Choose any foods from the allowed list that you fancy! We had one member who regularly had beanless chilli for breakfast
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

With regards to finding time to cook, try a crustless quiche from Linda's site (Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Recipes). They are really yummy and reheat well. My hubby loves them and requests them weekly.

Sometimes I eat chicken salad, which is very filling and yummy.
