  • Sugar free jello question?

    Hi people i was wondering what is this sugar free jello and where can i get some im assuming this is american? can i buy it in UK? Is it like our sugar free jelly we can get i dunno lol

    Yes, 'jello' in USA = 'jelly' in UK

    However as far as I know all the 'sugarfree jelly' in UK has asapartame as a sweetener which was one of the ones Dr Atkins wanted us to avoid.

    You can make your own occasional desserts using unsweetened gelatine powder or leaf, which you can get in the baking section of most supermarkets and adding one of the allowed sweeteners on the list.

    However we are allowed up to 3 servings per day of sweetener, including any sweetened drinks or food, so watch you do not overdo it.
