I've never used it... just noticed it's there. I guess you could check by comparing different foods...

Do you have the option to edit entries?

Why do you think that any lettuce isn't allowed on Induction?

Is it accurate? That's what really matters, imho!
It's not that I think they aren't allowed, they just weren't listed specifically

I always thought it was accurate, but maybe not? *shrug*

Just as red peppers are specifically mentioned but are allowed!

You would need to do some spot comparisons ... doing it by weight would be the most accurate way of telling.

I can create a custom food entry, but I can't edit master database items. But I can create a custom entry for anything I believe to be inaccurate. I'll try a few random things and compare to the USDA, and let you know;-)

Do you know where the information in the main database is coming from?

              All weights are 100 grams

              Asparagus ALC - 3.9 / USDA - 3.88
              Almonds ALC - 19.3 / USDA - 19.29
              Whole raw egg ALC - .8 / USDA - .78
              Cucumber ALC - 3.6 / USDA - 3.63
              Celery ALC - 3 / USDA - 2.97
              Beans, snap, green, raw ALC - 7.1 / USDA - 6.97
              Avocado, California, raw ALC - 8.6 / USDA - 8.64
              Cheese, cheddar ALC - 1.3 / USDA - 1.28
              Broccoli, raw ALC - 6.6 / USDA - 6.64
              Peppers, sweet, green, raw ALC - 4.6 / USDA - 4.64

So, assuming the USDA is accurate, I'd say My P.L.A.N on ALC is fairly accurate. I just picked 10 things randomly off of my favorites list, and they were awfully close. I'd call that a reasonably accurate program

In comparing it side by side with the USDA, everything is formatted and labeled exactly the same way, so it wouldn't surprise me if ALC took their info from the USDA's database. The only difference was the the USDA goes down to the 100th, ALC rounds off to the tenth.

                  A reasonable assumption.
