  • what are you lunch and dinner plans for today?

    hello all!

    day 3 on induction and looking for inspiration.

    if you have your meals planned for today, would you mind sharing?
    i'm heading out to the grocery store later and need to work on a list!

    I had a bowl of chopped up celery and red peppers mixed with mayonnaise with half a packet of brussels paté chopped into it.
    It was really tasty and did the job of using up the leftovers in the fridge!

    Tonight I will be having a fried pork chop with maybe some courgettes (zucchini) or aubergine (eggplant), depending on what looks good when I go shopping in a few minutes.

      I just finished my lunch, running a little late today. I had a couple roasted cherry tomatoes and a chicken thigh that I dipped in horseradish sauce.

      For dinner I have a pot roast in the oven cooking as we speak. I will roast some califlower and green beans with shallots to go with it.
      Mini Goals

      130- Met 3/21/10
      129- So I can say I am in the 120s- Met 3/29/10 128.7lbs yay
      125- 4/20/10 5 to go!

            I have actually been stalling a lot lately and I think its all of the fluff items I add daily, like over the limit cream cheese servings, over the limit splenda, and over the limit heavy cream. So, I am starting fresh today and trying to implement more raw vegetables at each meal for bulk food. This is what I am eating:

            Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 3 cups raw green beans, 2 TB italian dressing

            Snack: 1 measured ounce cheddar cheese

            Lunch: 1 can boneless skinless sardines, 3 cups raw spinach, 1 hard boiled egg, 2 TB italian dressing

            Snack: 1 hard boiled egg and 1 measured ounce of cheddar cheese

            Dinner: don't know yet - probably piece of meat with some cooked collard greens

            I have not been eating snacks throughout the day, go home for dinner hungry and eating about 1,000 calories at home between dinner and dessert. So, my goal now is to implement two snacks throughout the day, making the 3pm snack a little more food, so hopefully I can stop eating at dinner and not have any desserts (I.E. heavy cream or cream cheese with splenda).

              Lets see today it is

              Breakfast- Left over potroast roll up. I took some potroast, diced tomatoes, swiss cheese and horseradish sauce and rolled up in romaine lettuce.


              Lunch will be chicken salad in a bell pepper cup.


              Dinnner- Chicken club wraps. Diced grilled chicken, bacon and swiss cheese. I put that on a plate and nuke until the cheese melts over it. Then I put mayo on a romaine lettuce leaf, sprinkle some diced tomatoe and onion and roll the chicken, bacon and cheese up in it. On the side I will have roasted green beans. Those are my fries. I dip them in horseradish sauce too.

              For snack I have some greek yogurt and blueberries.

                lunch was chicken thigh with button sprouts topeed with cheese.
                Still deciding on lunch.............

                  Lunch was 2 Nathan's hot dogs and 1/2 c fried sauerkraut
                  Dinner was a bacon cheeseburger pattie, broccoli & snow peas and cheese chips.

                  It was delicious!!

                    Lunch was caesar salad with grilled chicken and dinner was steak and grilled zucchini/summer squash.
                    I WILL learn to feel comfortable in my own body again!

                      Lunch was spinach lasagne and sauteed zucchini with monterey jack sprinkled over it. Dinner was chicken leg quarters with broccoli and cheese.
