  • "Induction flu" worse second time around

Don't know if anybody else has experienced this, but this is my second time around on Atkins (let me clarify. . . second and final!) Anyways, yesterday morning I still had carbs but then for lunch and dinner it was all low carb Atkins friendly. This morning I woke up with a horrible migraine and very nauseous (to the point I am trying to talk myself into eating breakfast). The first time I did Atkins I barely noticed anything, it seems to have hit me really hard the second time around.

    Any suggestions?
I WILL learn to feel comfortable in my own body again!

Forget about "last time" and focus on "now".

Drink all your water, eat all your vegetables, and realize that this too shall pass.

Take some aspirin (or whatever you take) for the headache.

Definitely keep hydrated and be kind to yourself this weekend. If you need to rest, rest, and make sure you're getting enough sodium, which is now supposed to help some of those symptoms of induction flu. Make sure you take a good multivitamin as well, minimally. This will help to nourish your body beyond healthy food choices.
