    So I walk into work this morning and someone is selling candy bars as a fund raiser and someone else has brought us an entire tray of cupcakes! When I walked in the door and saw the candy bars with the sign attached, I thought, "Oh, I wonder how much, maybe I'll have one later. Oh wait, no, no, no." It was like for a moment, I completely forgot what I was doing, like I wasn't on Atkins at all.

    Once I came to my senses, I realized that I have absolutely no desire for either the candy bars nor the cupcakes.
    I WILL learn to feel comfortable in my own body again!

    If you want to support the cause, you can still "buy" a candy bar, you just don't actually pick it up!

        Great job! I know what you mean about forgetting what you are doing! It's easy to just slip back into that way of thinking, isn't it. Good thinking though!

        I hear so many times of people just feeling sick after having cupcakes or any other carby stuff. Our bodies are so used to having what's good that it almost rejects that stuff now!

          I agree with Atkinsgal - give them the price of a bar and tell them to give it to the next person they see that needs fattening up! Or take it and put it by the cupcake tray.
