    Re: Question ???

Hi TinaMarie! Good for you looking for some alternatives to keep you on plan!

Unfortunately, Crystal Light is sweetened with aspartame, and is a no-no on Atkins. You can use lemon juice or lemon slices if you like that (limit 2-3 tbsp per day).

      Re: Question ???

Some people find adding a slice or two of cucumber to their water makes it taste different and more palatable.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

        Re: Question ???

Sometimes I like to soak a few sprigs of fresh herbs like mint, lemon basil, chocolate mint, etc. in a pitcher of water. the flavor of the herbs are in the essential oils on the leave surfaces. And it's these essential oils of the herbs that flavor the water (you won't be taking in any carbs of the herbs unless you eat the them!)

            Re: Question ???

Have you tried adjusting the temperature of the water? Some people like their water ice cold and others like it room temperature. I like cold to ice cold water because I can detect an unpleasant aftertaste in room temperature water. So see if changing the temperature of the water enables you to drink more consistently.

              Re: Question ???

I add unsweetened powder decaffeinated tea to mine with alittle bit of splenda or stevia. Oh and a piece of lemon here and there. My sister used to do koolaid and splenda or other unsweetened softdrink powders.
If you get a headache from drinking something with splenda, stop drinking it. You might be a small percentage of people that have adverse side affects. I would then just use stevia but stay away from truvia because they put alot of fillers (carb fillers) in their product. Stevia is a bit expensive because its super concentrated. A tiny tiny bit goes along way. You can get it in powder and liquid form from a natural/organic foodstore.

Hope this helps. I used to be in the same boat. But I still try to drink plain water more than tea or softdrinks.
