What can I put on lettuce besides dressing? Or what are some other ways to eat it?

    Re: lettuce?

Use it like you would a flour or corn tortilla and wrap foods into it.

And lettuce can be cooked. There is a classic French soup that uses lettuce. And a few years ago, one of the trendy foods at high end restaurants was grilled romaine lettuce.

Maybe if you cannot think of a way to eat it you should eat something else. There are not a lot of nutrients in lettuce. cooked spinach would be better
But you can stir fry lettuce, make soups out of it, make slaw, use it as wraps

If you buy romaine, you can use the spiny pieces as taco shells. I also shred crisp, iceberg as a taco salad or nacho base.

                Re: lettuce?

Instead of store-bought dressing, I often put a little vinegar, oil, lemon juice, and salt and pepper over lettuce (and cucumbers or other veggies). It tastes fresh and light!
