  • Egg ?

I am going to try to start my diet on Monday. I was wondering if Egg beaters can be used instead of eggs?

Any reason why you prefer egg beaters?

They would be okay, if you don't mind the flavor, color, spices and what not that's added to them.

      Re: Egg ?

Here is the list of ingredients i one brand
      INGREDIENTS:
Egg whites (99%), less than 1%: Natural flavor, color (includes beta carotene), spices, salt, onion powder, vegetable gums (xanthan gum, guar gum).

Why would you eat chemicals when you can have a real egg. Real eggs are very healthy and just perfect for this diet.

Read the list of ingredients and if it looks like no starches and sugars and stuff it is OK to finish up I think.
So what else are you planning for your Atkins adventure starting Monday

Or some cheese... or boiled egg.
